Let me tell you shwat. If there is anything more American than guns , beer , and the American flag it’s a dang ole square body . And one of mine just so happens to be a dodge . Which if you are unfamiliar with the term it translates to big pain in the *** when it comes to electronics. Keep that in mind . Now on my 79 dodge one connector doesn’t just go to one component . Some of the wires are interconnected. For example oil pressure sensor . You’d think a bunch of highly sophisticated individuals who can turn a piece of metal into a living and driving machine would connect the pressure sensor to the Sensor , than the oil pressure switch and just leave it at that right ? Dodge : na Pham . <—- point proven .Now in terms of how the power probe helped me . It’s accurate, it will pin point the exact spot you have an open or short circuit. It’s small and can fit in tight spaces . It functions as it should , it feels like it was built with quality materials . Value for money . If it was 1,000 dollars I’d buy 2 . Has saved me headaches and time and money .My point being if it can fix a 40 year old dodge it will fix your car , prolly a space shuttle , world hunger , etc

The media could not be loaded. This does work for finding shorts. Had a passive entry inop issue on a door handle on a 23 Chrysler 300. Short to ground in the body harness. This saved me tons of time not having to rip the interior out to find the short or even replace the body harness under warranty if I couldn't find it which I probably wouldn't have considering how small it was.The module that sends the signal thrubthe circuit kept flip flopping between short and open which was annoying since it wouldn't stop beeping, I'm guessing it was because the wire was barely touching metal but I'm not sure. Either way the antenna was still able to trace the circuit all the way from the rear shelf panel by the back windsheld where the RFH module lives thru multiple plastic interior panels and carpet and stopped where my short was. The short was under the driver side scuff plate between a and b pillars. Do recommend for people who can utilize this tool

Paid for itself with the first use. I had a check engine light on mt 2021 Ram 2500, 6.7 diesel. The code led to the area of concern. This tool was able to detect the specific problem- an open/ circuit, which made the repair easy.
