I raised my first two sets of chicks and ducks in this pen. The fact that you can zip the top was a lifesaver for when my chicks learned they could fly out. The side openings make it easy to run brooder plate cords out. It held up great to two batches of chicks and a batch of ducks. The ducks wore mine out worse because they did what baby ducks do and constantly spilled water. I wouldn’t recommend using for ducklings for that fact, but it made do until they could go outside. If duckling go in it, it needs a tarp under it for water spillage. But it is the best for chicks. It’s very spacious and had plenty of room for near 20 chicks, two brooder plates, two starter roosting perches, a feeder and waterer. Mine held up great and only ripped due to my fault for dragging it over briars. It’s easy to dump out and spray with a water hose and cleans very easily. I will definitely be buying another one and highly recommend.

This was the best thing I've ever bought for baby chicks, easy to clean, I pit puppy pads down and pine shavings, lots of room and no problems using an overhead heat lamp. Many different openings for easy cleaning and replacing food and water containers. Folds in 1/2 for younger chicks, opens up all the way as they grow.

This pen has been so useful!!! It's held 24 Chicks and I know you could hold more if needed. Easy to clean, with a removable bottom. For the price, very much worth it

The media could not be loaded. Great pen for baby chicks! I went from a plastic bin for a few days and this came in and the ease of how it come out box was one pull and bam it unfolded like a tent and shows you how to fold back up. The space for my chicks is very good. The change in their behavior was so noticeable it was amazing they had time to run and stretch and be happy. For the price? Worth every penny! Highly recommend this play pen. Now I will say the walls are extremely sturdy just have watch out if you walk past it I would keep kids and pets away from it or there could be accidents to your animal in pen but how easy it was to put together was what I needed and the mesh top will keep them from flying out. Just got mine set up and the chicks are very happy when all the space! It is much larger than what I was thinking. I have seven 5 week old chicks and they have plenty of room to grow until I finish the new coop.

Only for very small or inactive pets. Work fine for chicks, but the fabrics is very thing, not what I was expecting.

Not good for 4 week old kittens as it is easy for them to climb up the netting. Within 15 minutes, the kittens had torn two holes making it unusable as a place to contain them safely.

This is probably the best enclosure for baby chicks I have ever purchased! Opens up easy, keeps the babies safe from jumping out of a box enclosure when they begin to fly up! The netting holds in the heat from the heat lamp. The 4 zipper openings makes it super easy to clean while not allowing birds to escape! The size could actually fit about 20 chicks or more! Love the capability of opening the zippered bottom and using the enclosed stakes to bring them outside when they are ready. This allows them to have fresh air, sunshine and foraging! The price of this unit was the best money can buy! It's very nice looking, sturdy and it protects the chicks from danger since it's completely enclosed! Can't say enough about this enclosure! Would highly recommend for novice to seasoned birders. I believe this would work for other small animals as well if they are not chewers!
