Heard about oil pulling from a YouTuber and wanted to have a go for myself. Looked up oil pulling and found a video from LABeautyologist where she used this. She explained on how to use this and how long to work with this. The balm feels a little like vaseline but it's not as aquaphobic as vaseline. It had to be used with dry skin, whether it be clean or caked with beauty products. This is so the balm can work and pull out the oily dirt and makeup. If there is any trace of water the ba won't attach to the oils or dirt. When working it into the skin, she mentioned the 60 second rule where you work it in for at least a minute. I worked it in longer as it is nice to massage to get a deep clean feeling. As I kept working it in, I could feel bumps. I have included the pictures of a few things that I pulled out. I've also included a before and after picture of the top of my nose. A before and after of the upper part of the lip. And a before and after of the bottom of my lip. After splashing my face to wash off the balm, it does get a little sudsy. There is another step to oil pulling, but at the end of this, my skin feels clean. The balm feels gentle on the skin, but I'm not sure if people with sensitive skin will get a bad reaction. There is hardly a scent, which is a good thing. But the price of this is a little pricy. But for something that's really good at what it's intended for. Plus there isn't anything like this in local shops, I would say it's at some sort of value for money. Wish I could have had enough money for the bigger pot.

Cleans make-up off effectively. No adverse skin reaction and no need to tug repeatedly at skin with cleansing cloth to remove stubborn makeup.

I have very sensitive skin and so far no reaction, it has no discernable scent. All in all I am happy with the price

The media could not be loaded. I've tried to remove eye pencils, red lipstick and very stable mascara. And it works with all of them. Maybe with the last one i needed a bit more time but i tried not to harm the skin and do it gently.This balm has a great texture, doesn't have any odours and extremely gentle even with a sensitive skin.I don't like the spatula. It could be smaller to put it under the lid. I have no idea where to store it.

Costly but so worth it, using this make up remover i don't waste time with cotton wool and a variety of skin care products,i literrally apply a small amount of this and massage into my skin and rinse off.Perefct for sensitive skin, for me the best part of this is its scent free, no eye watering moments of the stench of chemicals.I often find other make up remover lotions quite harsh on my skin, leaving it feeling dry and when using cotton wool over my eyes i always feel as if i'm dragging my skin to remove make up especailly mascara.This pot comes with a small spatula which is ideal if you have long nails, the cleanser itself is quite stiff it's not a soft liquid but it soon melts once you rub it into your palms, i often put it straight onto my skin and massage it in as it melts very quickly on contact.I'm amazed at the quality of this, it just melts make up away from the heaviest of foundation to thick mascara and best of all glitter make up just washes away.I can't praise this enough, it's not even been tested on animals which for me is a essential.Try this and you wont look back, you only need a small amount and your skin will thank you for using this.

I use cleansers like this frequently, where you apply to dry face then use a cloth to wipe and rinse off. This worked so well, I wasn’t sure how much to use so used around one and a half spatula size, I didn’t need that much so just under a spatula should do or around a hazelnut size. It feels quite thick and hard but once on the warmth of your hand it becomes soft and oily. It was pleasant to apply and I used a warm wet muslin cloth to remove. It removed all my make up and most of my eye make up, just some mascara left under my eyes, but I haven’t found a cleanser yet that removes it all.I double cleanse so used some micellar water after and absolutely nothing on the cotton pad as it had worked really well.This is a game changer for me and I will be using this from now on.
