TaylorPrecision Products 481 4.25" Metal Thermometer

When reading reviews I almost did not purchase this thermometer but having worked several years in restaurants I trusted the Taylor name as they were for many years the standard in quick temp food thermometers.Bottomline this is very accurate, I have laser digital thermometers and they always agree with this thermometer. I really like the retro look and it is perfect for my back deck.

Decent little thermometer. Perfect size for mounting outside my kitchen window. Looks cute, too. Accuracy not the best, but I can live with a couple of degrees variance.A tip for the people who were surprised at the small size: Get a ruler out, and draw out a 4.25” circumference on a piece of paper. That’s how big it is. Too small? Look for something else.

Been using Taylor thermometers for most of my adult life. They are well built, quality products that have" stood the test of time" ... This outdoor thermometer is a bit hard to read because of the size, however, if placed in an appropriate place (out of direct sunlight) it is accurate (according to the N.W.S.), rugged and built for many years of quality service. Excellent value for the money spent.

I just opened this exterior thermometer and could not believe how flimsy and cheap the devise is. I immediately packaged it up for return. I cannot speak to accuracy or anything else but just know what you get if you order is very cheap and light…..I cannot imagine it would hold up outside in the weather over time.

Difficult to read from inside due to the background color.....Wish it was white and not antique. Looks really nice and is accurate.

I don't understand what the fuss is about with the wind. Mine doesn't move. And if it did, squeeze the bracket a bit and that'll stop it. Mine mounted easily and looks great.

It looks classic and classy. Well made. Bought it as a gift for my new porch! Love it!

Looks nice but actually a little smaller than I pictured. Also,. This isn't the accurate with temps. It's offby 5-10 degrees. Disappointed.

Beau thermomètre, toutefois les chiffres sont très petits et demandent que nous soyons près pour en faire la lecture. Le support est aussi mal conçu. Le thermomètre ne reste pas en place...La précision et qualité générale est passable.
