Company shipped used set as new, which didn't work. Replacement finally did work.
Read this whole review as I had a problem that was solved with a product replacement. I bought the option that comes with two complete remotes with batteries. When I got them, I noticed that the batteries were already installed which isn't a good sign, as these key fobs will use the battery constantly, and they should ship with the batteries removed. Sure enough, I tried to program them, and neither would be recognized by my 2012 Volt. I even fully erased all key fobs from the car and I was able to program the original back onto the car but these two would not work. I also tried replacing the battery on both units to see if they were just dead, but that didn't help. It seems likely that the units I received were already programmed to another car. Once you pair a GM/Chevy flip out style key fob to a car, it's married for life, so these will not work on any car, and the IC on these have to be erased which requires special equipment. I filled out an amazon replacement, calling them damaged. If the new ones I get work, I will update this review accordingly. If not, it will remain at 1 star, and I will do a full return.Update: The second set showed up. Batteries were already installed, but this set worked just fine, and I was able to program them to the car in about 2 minutes. I've updated my review to 4 stars as I said I would. I recommend that this company:1. Work on their return handling process. The first set I got must have been programmed and returned, and then sent to me as new without erasing the IC on the remotes, making them useless.2. Stop shipping the remotes with the batteries in them. These remotes use battery power constantly, so having them in your warehouse with batteries in them means the customer might receive them with an already half dead battery. For a price only slightly lower than OE, you can do better.

Great Company!!!
Their Keys work everytime. If you can find a locksmith to programe the keys you get from them. This is the best way to go.

A little elbow grease saves time & money
I have a 2012 Chevy Volt where the key's rubber buttons have fallen apart. A new FOB would be minimum $50 for a replacement and an hour to reprogram all working FOBs. Taking it to the dealer would be even costlier and time consuming.I thought, why not replace what's broke? Saw these covers and thought what's the worst that could happen?Unfortunately, for me, the 2012 Chevy Volt FOBs are glued together, so taking them apart without destroying the board was the hardest part. A little heat, a sharp knife, a pair of pliers, and 30 minutes later a new to me looking FOB.Totally worth the effort. Also, I did have to fiddle with the battery contacts in the new covers to make sure we had good connections. So if it doesn't work, make sure the contacts for the battery are making good contact.

Easy to rebuild your old remote.
A lot cheaper then buying a new remote.

Exact Copy
Bought a replacement with another seller. The only thing associated with the key was a sticker on top of another sticker saying it was for the Volt. It wasn't even a flip key.Got this product that looks identical to the original and it took less than 10 minutes to code it. Plenty of Volt specific You Tube videos. I wish it would be as simple to replace the other keys I lost. Thank goodness I was able to avoid a dealer!

Great taste without the calories
This is a great inexpensive product, I purchased the two-pack for slightly more than a single item would cost at the dealership. I accessed a "how-To" utube video and had them programmed in less than 5 minutes, work perfectly.
