3 Seater Garden Bench Cover Waterproof

Irrespective of price I seem to need to replace my 3 seat bench cover every year….they just degrade….this one is a generous fit, usually it’s a bit of a struggle to fit and I felt the quality was better than ones I’ve had at similar prices in previous years. Only time will tell if it lasts any better than others.

This cover  is no longer supplied with ties –not a big issue, but it is misleading advertising. Dimension wise it’s about 1500mm long [60”] by 740mm high [29”] and 710mm deep [28”]. There are four brass ringed eyelets, one for each of the bench legs but it’s very lightweight and could do with a further two holes in the centre to give additional ties to stop it lifting in the wind [lose a *]. The material looks identical to that on my patio table, and as such does not look as if it will stand up to the wind and rain as I think this will disintegrate within the year, but I can’t deduct *s for what might happen.Before posting this I read other reviews and the size seems to vary, depending when it was sold, varying from 1800mm [6’] in length to mine at 1500mm [5’] with no tie strings, I assume in a cost saving exercise. Was a low priced option, delivered quickly and post free! This is one review that is likely to be amended in the future.UPDATE 16/7/16: Regains a* as this has survived a miserable wet and windy summer and still looks as it did when purchased. Much stronger than I expected. Loses the star for above comments.

Replacing previous one which tore - love it - smart, good quality, fits well on arms etc - strong - good price - only caveats - states drawstring - actually 4 small bits of drawstring, one per corner, but anchors well - and doubt that it would fit 3 seater - mine a teak 2 seater and not much left over - a 3 might well be tight....but delighted at the price...would buy again - Squirrel 59 - F 14.6.1319.6.13 - Now had this item on bench for 5 days during dreadful thunderstorms - says how watertight it is in that every time rain stopped, seat cover had a lake on it extending end to end and edge to edge!! Its really not bad for the money, but can I offer a design alteration. I bought if to go over our 3 seat swing garden seat and if on just pops it over the seat one cannot pull the end side panels down to the floor. It needs some kind of zip or make it , each panel with two sections to go around the seat vertical poles and allow the two portions to be then tied together at the bottom by eyelets . If one just pops it over as I bought it from you , well when it rains it just fills up with water in the seat area and I have a paddling pool . Just a though, thank you for your product, I am satisfied after adjustment. If keeps the rain off quite well. Ken of Sheffield

I only got this cover a few days ago, but I am pleased with it. I find these covers don’t last more than a year or two and the price of this one suited me. It is not thick, but all I want is something to keep my seat dry and covered over the winter months. It fits well and I have not used the ties as the seat is against a sheltered wall. I would buy this again.

A good sized 3 seater garden bench cover worth buying at the asking price and perfect to protect any bench from rain , frost and wind. Fits very nicely and can be tied to or simply tucked under your bench , so its a great buy and cheaper than some stockists.

I bought one of these last November. It has thus lived through the first 7 of the "named" storms of this winter without any major problems, keeping our garden bench well protected.After 3 months of pretty significant battering by wind and rain in an exposed garden the only slight issues are that two of the tie cords broke a couple of days ago and that there are some signs of rubbing on one corner, neither of which are at all surprising given the weather in that time. For the money I paid for this item I can only describe it as brilliant value.If/when this finally succumbs to the depradations of winter weather in northern England I would happily buy another.
