I bought this tie in red (58 inches) for my Hermione Granger costume, and it was perfect! This tie is nice quality for a good price. I wasn't aware that the costume I ordered comes with a tie. So I returned this one, but the quality of this one was slightly better. The fabric is ribbed and thick. Highly recommend if you are looking for a Harry Potter Gryffindor tie for teens to adults. The tie may be slightly long for kids.

The tie looks exactly as pictured. It is of nice quality and easy to tie if you know what you're doing. The instructions on the package wasn't the best, so I had to Google it, since I'm not familiar with ties. The tie was super long for my 7 year old, went past her waist and she is fairly tall for her age. I would buy again if she wanted to dress as the other houses.
