My dog eat like toddlers. I like how this mat is truly easy to clean. She has been using hers for a year now & I will be replacing it with a higher off the ground station. I recommend these mats as starter mats, especially for puppies

I should have thought about the measurements more. It’s pretty small if you have large bowls.

I love this! I have a 1 year old medium sized boxer mix. He is good with food spills, but very messy when he drinks water. Normally we find puddles of water inches away from his bowl on our tile and he will leave wet paw prints everywhere, causing us to slip. Also, he tends to push his bowls around when he eats or drinks water from his bowls because the tile is slippery. I found that this mat prevents the bowls from slipping when he eats/ drinks as long as there isn’t water underneath the bowls, which I have no problem with because I clean his food mat every two days (as instructed to as to prevent mold ) or whenever I see needed. If I don’t have time to really clean it then I run a paper towel over the surface and wipe off the excess water on both the mat and underneath his bowls. I’ve seen people use food stands, which I think would probably be better because you would only have to wipe off the surface of the mat and not underneath the bowls, but I don’t mind .The only “problem” I found with the mat is that it doesn’t catch all the water my dog spills. I still find a little bit of water on the outside of the mat , but I wasn’t expecting it to catch 100% of the water because like I said, my dog is very messy when he drinks water. Mainly because he rushes back and forth between eating/ drinking and then running to the living room to see me , then running back to eat (He is a rescue puppy with attachment issues that we are working on). So I think it’s just my dog lol. Also, the mat is pretty thin and my dog has thick nails. So far it’s hasn’t torn and in the picture you can see him standing on the mat . He just got a nail file so his nails aren’t sharp now, but I wonder what will happen when they get a little longer. I will update if anything happens , but for now everything is great!I put two bowl sizes for reference. The blue bowls are medium stainless steel bowls for my boxer mix and the small plastic bowls are for my Maltipoo. My Maltipoo has a different mat, but I just placed it there to help anyone who is debating if this mat is too big, to small, or just the right size. Btw I live in a small apartment and I had no issue with the size taking up space. It was perfect for my boxer, but if this was just for my Maltipoo then I would say it would be too big for my liking. Very thin silicone, I can see this tearing easily. Thankfully my dog doesn’t chew and it’s purpose is just to keep the water from his bowl off of the floor, which it does. It is large enough to fit two large sized food/water bowls.The seller was very helpful at resolving the quality issue with this product and I really appreciated the great customer service.

This is the right size for the area I needed to put it. Fits my tiny dog bowls with enough room to catch the overspills. My dog won't step on it tho, she must not like the rubber. It rinses well in the sink too.

I thought would be some paddin on the back. It will do for now.

The media could not be loaded.  Is cute, but super super thin. It doesn’t stay flat to the floor at all. It have little bend, creases all throughout the mat that keep folding up

The mat is very thin and the borders are not very elevated which makes me worried about spillage. It is very easy to clean and the size is great!
