Got this to replace the dead battery in my old HP Envy 17" laptop. It's works, but does not hold a proper charge. Sometimes it does not charge too 100%, only to about 67%. It's unpredictable.I would not recommend this battery unless you are desperate for one, like I was. This was the only replacement I could find since HP no longer makes a replacement battery for my laptop model.Happy my laptop is functional again, but be warned this is a low quality battery.

So far it works for my older HP Envy 17 laptop I bought in 2012. Easy to install but you need a small screw driver so I got a computer repair kit with a small screw driver in it which made it easy.
