Anyone lucky enough to have had PS3, 4, and 5 will know that the controllers have got progressively better and more comfortable. And you will also, know that while PS3 still played PS1 and 2 games whereas 4 cannot.So here I am in 2024 still using my PS3 with the not-very-nice-compared-to-the-PS5 controller to access some old and favourite games.This device lets me use a PS5 controller with PS3. It plugs in to a USB and just works. There is no other workaround that I can find to use a more modern controller with PS3.Recommended.

I had a PS3 arcade stick that I wanted to use on my PS5, I wasn't expecting there to be any options for this and thought I'd have to sell it but along came Brooks with this amazing bit of kit. Plugged it all in and it worked straight away. Doesn't seem to be any input delay either. Very impressed.

These allow me to use my ds4 and dualsense with on my ps3 and they even support the recovery menu

It doesn't work waste of money

I didn't know this existed! My PS3 controller sounded like it was dying every time it vibrated and I'm not technical enough to try and replace bits inside. So this was the next best option! This was delivered and within 2 minutes the PS3 was running a PS2 game using a PS4 controller (and via Bluetooth). Plus the vibration still works! Fabulous bit o kit!

I bought this adapter/receiver for use on my PS3 as i find the PS3 controller to feel really cheap and flimsy and also they only seem to charge from the console itself and that's very inconvenient for me. So I got this and hooked up my PS4 controller to it. Connected instantly, removed the wire from my PS4 controller pressed the PS button it instantly connected and the controller worked perfectly all buttons mapped correctly, no input lag. The PS4 controller can connect to a PS3 natively but the ps button and the start button dont work when you do that but with this adapter it all works so well it feels like the controller was made for the consoleIf you want to use a better controller with your PS3 ABSOLUTELY get this adapter it's brilliant it's really leveled up my PS3 gaming experience and that's without considering how good it could be on other consoles too as it supports use the PS4, Switch and PC too

Excellent for PS4 and Switch too but it doesn't work for PS3 despite changing and updating the firmware and the many hours i tried. If you want it for the PS4 or Switch go for it if you want it for the PS3 better look elsewhere.
