Fully enclosed Solid steel, but with some possible gap for water to leak in.
The media could not be loaded. These aren't really fully waterproof, but they do offer a good resistance against splash, just don't expect it to be fully water proof, that is the only problem I found. Inside there is a latch open it with 0000 code then put the latch to B, have to push in and to the left, then set your code, never forget this code trust me. Then after setting code, put it back to A.Close it and now it only opens with your new code you set. Jumble the numbers up and it locks, the lock so far is pretty good, there's nobody opening that with the hand, its fully solid steel alloy, I think it be difficult to break it with a hammer, would need to use a professional tool to cut into this. So I must stress if you do get it, don't forget your code.Product is a good one, The long nail is for the middle. It also comes with an adhesive pad, best used with professional glue if you want it to last. You can either use the screw in method using a hand drill, or you can use the adhesive double sidesp pad instead, you can also combine them for the ultimate hold. That's what I did. Nearly perfect product, used it for keys, and sometimes anything else. If it only had rubber seal around the opening, then it be waterproof, the back needs to get waterproof too with those holes, but it's good enough. The star was removed because the lack of full waterproof, better for indoors in my opinion. It gets good rating for being ridiculously hard all over.

Easy to setup
After locking myself out of the house some time ago, I thought it was about time to have a backup key available. The box is small and plain, ideal for being discrete on my outside wall. As for setting the combination, it was simple and easy to do. The numbers are clear to see on the dials and can be moved well individually. They do have some stiffness to them, but I found this helped to keep the set ones in place. If trying to move all four at once to scramble the numbers, it was a bit more challenging. However, once it was on the wall, I didn't have any problems. As there are easily accessible holes on the back panel, I could mark where I was going to drill with a chalk pen. From there, I put the screws in and even though 2 of them didn't go in perfectly, as it was held with a total of 4, it was still firm against the wall. Overall, it's a good box and I feel happier knowing I have access to a second key if need be.
