Why have they changed this product!!
Why, oh why have they changed this, prior to my second purchase the tape was slightly lighter and have significantly more adhesion. However the second roll is poor - and if you are using for the heat bed on a 3D printer don't bother it comes off half way through a print. Made me waste about 300g of filament and about 7 hours. Very frustrating.*Previous Review* Up until I bought this tape I had relied on a glass plate on the heatbed. However with my most recently MP maker select plus I tried out the stock base and I simply could not remove prints, so I returned to the glass but now my prints were warping so... the solution was this tape it is fantastic.Alas it is over £4 a roll which is pretty expensive and it leaves a slight imprint on the PLA base but you save A LOT of warps, print fails and nozzle blockages from using it so I will keep using it.For the removal, I take the glass off, put a scraper under the tape and slowly and carefully push until the print releases - it sticks very well!

Terrible for use during painting walls
Absolutely dreadful for use as painters tape. I used it to paint a wall in a bedroom at home. It stuck on fine enough, but I had a nightmare of a time when I came to remove it. The tape never came off in one go, it kept leaving tiny pieces of it behind which were impossible to remove without a scalpel. Tiny pieces of the tape also seem to embedded themselves into the paint at the edge as well. To top all that, the finished edge was poor at best. I have used a lot of different makes of painters tape in my time, and I have never used such a bad product.Save yourself the hassle of having to repair all the damage this tape will do to your walls, buy the good stuff from a proper brand. Something I shall be doing forever more.

Good for 3D Printer Plate
Bought this for my 3D printer to protect the print bed from scratches and for adhesion of prints to the bed.The tape is quite wide so it only takes about three pieces to cover the bed of my mini 3D printer. The colour is good as a contrast to most filaments, as you want to be able to see the print progress clearly. The surface is slightly beveled which helps with adhesion, however I have found I need to apply glue via a glue stick at the commencement of a print, especially if the print time is several hours long. The heat does tend to lift the edges of the tape from the bed, however I tend to double up with a clear, heat tape around the edges to ensure a completely flat surface with no tapers. The reel is still going strong and often lasts for more than one print, as I use the two types of tape. This blue masking tape is much better than the traditional cream DIY masking tape, and t is certainly more adhesive for use with a 3D printer, plus the colour is also a good contrast. I am quite happy using this product for my printing!!!

Good buy!
Pretty good masking tape, somehow the blue one is better then the normal coloured one from coral, Works well with matt paint hardly any peel off from paint if any, Adhesive is good make sure the area is clear from dust/dirt and run fingers along applying pressure on the edge of tape too get a good seal I even ran another line of tape overlapping a few millimetres for the ceiling and sides of the walls as I wanted to get real close to the edges too get a clean finish, Worked well even leaving on for a day before peeling off.If your tied of the amount of time cutting in takes or just finding it tough I would recommend this one, worked for me.Update 26th May, Good clean lines for matt paint but not good for silk or softsheen bleed through a lot, can't get clean line with, Probably only good for masking the ceiling edge when painting wall not the other way round and for matt paint, as the ceiling paint tends to come away from the ceiling a bit making the line look bubbly not clean when using silk or softsheen paint.

Not even sticky enough to stick to itself.
This is the worst tape I have ever used, I was using it to cover holes on steel box section that I was spraying inside. The tape didn't stick properly at all and was falling off. It wouldn't even stick to itself. I might as well have not used any tape because it didn't work and I ended up getting paint running down the outside of the steel even after using a full roll of tape and it ruined the powder coat finish to the outside of the steel which cost over €1500.I gave 3 stars for easy to remove because this tape removed itself, I didn't even have to touch it. I have never been so disappointed with an Amazon purchase in my life.

Does not work very well.
First use to mask up a PC case for spray-painting. Came back after paint had dried to find all this tape had unstuck and fallen off making some marks in the paint. Second use to mask off some sections of painted plaster board for home decoration, went downstairs to get the paint and when I came back found it had unstuck and fallen on the wall. Walls had been cleaned and prepped well too & tape pressed down firmly. Then when I finally did get to paint the wall with the tape stuck on I found the tape readily absorbs the water from the paint, expands and wrinkles up allowing paint underneath the tape. Some reviews on here mention the tape is very sticky - I found the opposite. I won't be using this tape again.

Manage it careful and it will be ok.
Very good. Low tack so can be used on freshly painted surfaces as well as to get good lines with satin and gloss areas. Recommended. The pack of 3 are a great offer. I noticed a previous review has difficulty removing the tape.. I discovered that with satin it's best to remove it as soon as u do the area as if it dries and starts to go tacky u can peel the satin with the tape. (Peel away whilst satin is still wet) and I think u have a bit more leeway on emulsion and can leave it there a bit longer if your coating an area 2 or 3 times.. I had no problems with it taking any paint away whilst peeling it off. I was using crown clean easy tho.. which is fairly resilient. It's good tape if managed well and just not left there for days and days.
