The line was simple to install with 1 other adult. And the line has successfully held back my husky. The only complaint is i had to “tie” the line around her harness handle and then clip it because she has managed to somehow get it unhooked and tying first fixed it. 2 when i did tie it the casing cracked and the wires are a tad bent and exposed.

I was looking for a replacement for our current dog trolly. this will be perefect, we have 3 large dogs,and this trolly is so nice to have for mulitiple "potty" trips. Will def order again for our campsite!

Sturdy dog run

This would be good enough for our pup with one exception. As multiple other people have noted, the trolley wheel design itself is defective. There is not enough room between the wheel and the bottom housing. If the angle of pull exceeds a certain amount, the cable gets wedged between the wheel and the housing and locks up. I am going to see if there are any alternative trolley attachments at Lowes/PetSmart and if not plan to return the entire assembly. Too bad as everything else seems fine.Update: So the easiest fix I found was to simply cut off the useless trolley wheel that comes with this kit. I looped the cable around and clamped it off. Picture attached. It is now completely silent (the wheel was pretty noisy) and never binds up. I could have cut the trolley wheel housing itself and used the existing cable loop, but much easier to just cut the cable with cutters and be done with it. Works great now.

My girls is an average size but super muscular and strong. Nothing holds her. I was afraid of her getting loose and hit by a car so I got this to run between the back door and a very large tree. It’s not too difficult to set up. I’m a bit older and a below knee amputee with back pain and managed it. She’s able to run and not get tangled up so we’re both happy.

I have a 70+ lb dog who pulls hard enough he threw my wife's back out when she was walking him. I've seen him take off after a rabbit with a full head of steam and this line held and yanked him off his feet. I did swap out the lead that comes with it for a 16' clip-on lead so that he has more room to roam without leaving the yard.

I made sure to drill the iscrews into thick wood between the house and garage, it works well, even in the winter. It seems secure for my 10-15lb dogs but I'm not sure how secure it would be for large dogs.

Product arrived with no related hardware, just the wires. I would not buy again if I am only getting half of what I paid for.
