This nursing cover is a little sheer, but it's not see-through by any means, and it being lightweight means it's breathable for baby. Other than the material being a little sheer, everything about this is fantastic. It's big and long enough to provide adequate coverage. It ties around the neck with an adjustable strap. After I adjusted the cover around the neck, the straps that tie around the back land right underneath my arms, which allow me to move my arms and baby underneath, still feel completely covered, and not have to constantly readjust the cover. There's something like a plastic bar in the neckline which is slightly bendable to pull it into a flattened position on my chest or make a teepee shape if I'm in a position where no one can look over my shoulder.

Pros: The material is nice and breathable, the strap around the neck is adjustable, the piece along the neckline allows you to see under and it comes with a bag for storage.Cons: the blanket is too long and not wide enough- if you're plus sized DO NOT ORDER. If it was turned 90 degrees this would fit better so my arms could at least fit underneath the cover where I need them to help my wiggling newborn latch and stay latched... If I breastfeed while wearing this I am exposed on the side and have to shift it so it's sideways to cover better but still not covered properlyWould recommend the weesprout brand nursing poncho or any poncho especially if you're plus sized as it just gives better coverage. The weesprout comes with an insert that allows you to view baby under the poncho as well. Disappointed I can't return it with a refund since I won't be using this cover.

I've been using this super-soft muslin cover for a while now, and I seriously can't overstate how useful it is! It came nicely folded and rolled up, and in a little bag, so I've tried to keep it stored like that, so I always have it handy. It stays in my car mostly, and here are some of the things that I've used it for:-a carseat cover (to keep it from getting too hot)-a sunshade-a thin blanket-an actual apron-a towel-a pillowI read other reviews that said it's very sheer, but I have not found that to be the case. I don't use it for its "intended" purpose--I actually removed the "wire" so that it lays flat--but when I hang it up as a shade in the car, it blocks the sun nicely.I've machine washed it, and I dry it on low heat (because...I don't want to hang things out to dry), and while it shrank a little bit, it *is* cotton gauze, and that *will* shrink, and this didn't shrink excessively--and it hasn't gotten rough or pilled with use, so I really like that. All in all, a very handy item that I don't want to be without!

The muslin material is so soft and flowy and only gets better with every wash! The design of this nursing cover is perfect with the structured neckline so you can easily look down and see baby AND know that they are getting some airflow. Very easy to put on/take off which is crucial if you are trying to get a nursing session started fast! I have found that this folds/rolls up really compactly which makes it great for keeping in my diaper bag. I love that in a pinch it can be used as a blanket for baby which makes for one less thing you need to take with you on the go. Great color options and good pricepoint! This would be a wonderful gift for a baby shower or new parent.
