Big capsules
These look similar to other X-Labs capsules and come in similar packaging, but the labelling and obviously the contents - differ. As you can see this is quite a large capsule, you'll definitely need something to wash it down. Apart from that, it is what it is: glucosamine (used by the body to make other chemicals that build tendons, ligaments, etc.) and chondroitin (a component of cartilage). If you have trouble with joint pain or arthritis then glucosamine can certainly work wonders. Are these capsules any better or worse than others available? I don't know. They're certainly the largest glucosamine capsules I've tried, but if your diet precludes any of the ingredients of the smaller ones, these ones may be an option.

I like that these supplements are manufactured in the UK.
With so many different supplements and vitamins available from all around the world it is reassuring that these are marked as having been manufactured in the UK to GMP standards. These supplements are easy to swallow and have no unpleasant aftertaste and are marked as being suitable for vegetarians and vegans.I have used this brand before and have been pleased with their products so I will sticking with them in the future.

Big tablets
These are quite big and you take two a day. I swear by them but do your own research.

Vegan Pain Relief?
There was a time when it seemed everyone I knew was taking Glucosamine for various aches and pains, and many swore by it. I'm not going to discuss whether Glucosamine is a miracle supplement or just snake oil, there are lots of Google articles you can read for that, I'm considering the rest of the product.Vegan-friendly and containing Glucosamine, Turmeric, Rosehip and Phytodroitin (a natural plant-based substitute for Chondroitin), the ingredients list seems comprehensive. There are 90 tablets in the barely half-full "bottle" which seems a touch less generous when you realise you need to take two a day to get the recommended dosage. Still, there's a 45-day supply even at two each day.The "bottle" is large and flat which I believe has been done to make it letterbox-friendly which is a great idea but it brings with it some problems. The large, rectangular lid is neither airtight now moisture resistant and has no tamperproof mechanism of any kind so keep well away from tiny fingers, and it's probably best kept away from the humidity of most bathrooms. Having such a small base also means the slightest knock or breeze has it toppling over. In short, I'm not a fan.The tablets themselves are slightly on the large side but not too bad and let's be honest, if it takes the edge off your pain then all of these shortcomings are probably a price worth paying.Made in the UK it's nice to think you're supporting a home-grown company safe in the assumption that only safe and sanitary ingredients are being used in the manufacturing process.

Easy to swallow
Easy to swallow capsules. I take them with my breakfast. Not noticed any benefits yet but over time that might change. On doing my research these should benefit my joints.ss

Vegan friendly
These glucosamine capsules are vegan friendly, made in the UK using plant based and easily absorbed ingredients. As well as 1000mg of glucosamine, two capsules a day give you a boost of Vit C, rosehip and turmeric. The capsules are tasteless but quite large to swallow, and come in a letterbox friendly flat plastic pack.I have been taking glucosamine for years to help with cartilage, muscle and bone health as I age. I am sure this xSpan product will work fine, but it is rather more expensive than my current one.

good value for three months supply. some nice, beneficial ingredients.
the flat style packaging is very convenient and easy to fit into bags and so on.the capsules are on the larger side, but smooth and easy to swallow. they have no significant smell or taste to them.the combination of nutrients and plants in this supplement are supposed to be very good for joint and bone health, and as I have a lot of joint pain, I hope these prove to be helpful. this contains about three months worth of capsules, so it's not bad value at all, and gives you a good time period to see if you find them beneficial or not.

Novelty container
The first thing that struck me about this product was its packaging : a rather jolly large flat plastic medicine bottle that looks as if it has been run over in a cartoon. The top is easy to remove - which is a plus for me with arthritic hands (and is a problem with many medications). However, there is a reason why medications have safety caps, so it would be wise to keep this well out of reach of children - especially as it has a rather appealing, child-like design. The capsules themselves are large - as expected - but easy to swallow with water. They have no noticeable taste. At this stage I am unable to say anything about the efficacy of them. The pack contains 90 capsules - with a recommended dose of 2 per day, it's just over 6 weeks worth, which makes them a more expensive than other brands on here. Possibly because these are vegan. Or possibly because of the packaging...?
