I've been wearing the Keen Elle Backstrap Sandals for a couple of years and really liked them. But, in the last few months, I noticed that the elastic in the strap had stretched slightly and the sandals had become looser. But luckily Keen now sells the Elle Criss Cross Sandal which is a slightly modified version of the original Backstrap Sandal - in the newer version, the strap is specifically adjustable, so I'll be able to adjust the strap if it loosens with use. Additionally, the footbed is cork which looks great and is slightly more comfortable (the footbed on the Elle Backstrap Sandals was always comfortable, but this cork footbed is even better). I love these modified sandals and plan to buy another pair.

Bought these prior to a 2 week trip to Europe and they performed very well. They're so comfortable, not heavy and my feet weren't overly tired after long days of walking. The velcro closure was a considered feature in case I needed to adjust them if my feet were swollen. That didn't end up happening, but I was happy to have the added support of the strap. The style is versatile so you can dress them up or down. I ordered my regular size.

I took these on a long weekend trip. Almost immediately (the third day) they started coming apart, as pictured. Incredibly comfortable sandals, but major flaw to have them just come apart like that.

These are a very comfortable shoe and look nice enough to wear with a sundress but my order had a busted box and the soles were dirty and worn somewhat

I have terribly difficult feet to fit. Some neuropathy means no heal height and a wider fit. These sandals fit the bill perfectly. Look great and I can shop and sightsee all day long! Thank you Keen.

I was going to save them for next season, but started wearing them right away. I like the cork footbed, and the arch. They're durable and will last a long time.

I love these shoes, very comfortable. Cute for an older person, like me.

Comfortable, chic. These sandals are good with any outfit except something very dressy. They served me well on a recent trip where we did a lot of walking. They didn’t require any “breaking in”. True to size.

They fit exactly to size (6.5 was the size I got) and are super comfortable with zero time needed to break them in

Don 't know how to properly separate this rating from Keen, as these shoes are great. But we placed the order Sept 15, and finally got it Nov 20th only to find the wrong size was sent.My wife loves the shoes, Keen has always had great quality.Amazon was terrible on this. Listed as in stock when purchased, originally in July. Waited. And waited. Kept checking back. Finally in Sept I see stock again in our size, and it said one week delivery. Cancelled the first order and reordered thinking it would come in a week. Wrong. After a month messaged Amazon and was told despite the listing still listed as Prime, and in stock one week delivery, I was going to have to wait until late November, and if I cancelled and reordered no guarantee it would come faster. So we waited, and it came! Wrong size. What a disaster.This listing really was a debacle in terms of its stock level and promised delivery date. We ended up returning and buying locally for more. Oh well, you can't win them all.
