High-tech Kinetic quartz movement never needs batteries. Outstanding polished steel case is accented with distinctive coin edge detail. Skeleton crystal caseback reveals the intricate movement inside. Case is presented on the handsome vertical link bracelet in satin finished steel with fluted, polished steel accent links. Raised polished steel bezel frames with the silver colored dial with sapphire blue hands and silver colored hour markers. A window at the 3 o'clock hour reveals the automatic date . Scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Water resistant to 50 meters (166 feet). Bracelet has a push-button clasp for added convenience. Case is 38.5mm in diameter and 11mm thick. Powerfully styled and technologically advanced, the Seiko SKA233 silver stainless steel men's watch feature's Seiko's kinetic quartz movement, which contains its own internal electrical generator--operated by natural wrist movements--making it independent of conventional storage batteries. The step-motion second hand will move in 2-second intervals when energy is reaching a level of less than 3 hours. It features a large, round watch case that measures 1.7 inches in diameter and a shimmery silver-white dial background with a Guilloche-textured center that's accented by blue hands (with a thin silver second hand). The dial markers mix triangle shapes and Roman numerals, and it also features small minute indexes that surround the outer dial. The silver stainless steel bracelet band mixes polished and textured pieces, and it's joined by a push-button butterfly clasp. The skeleton caseback lets you see the watch's inner mechanics. It's capped by a highly polished silver crown that's tipped with a black center. Other features include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, date function at 3 o'clock, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet). Over the past 20 years, SEIKO has created on this platform a suite of Kinetic movements, each bringing unique features to the consumer. It was at the 1986 Basel Fair that SEIKO unveiled its first Kinetic prototype. Introduced under the trial name of 'AGM', it was the first watch in the world to convert kinetic movement into electrical energy.
