I am in my late twenties and live alone currently. I never thought there would be a day where I’d be looking at products to help with mobility and the limitations that can come with living alone no matter your age. Your smoke detector (in my case) goes out and your floor ladder won’t safely reach it and you should not be on one alone if you fall which I have before I found this product. You have high or vaulted ceilings, lightbulbs… they go out just like batteries in smoke detectors. The package arrived on time, no damage. Packaging was fine. The assembly was easy. And I was worried it wouldn’t fit my smoke detectors but it did ! It’s about 3.2” wide (my smoke detectors) and I unscrewed it in 5 seconds with this and now my home is beep free and have installed new batteries! MUST HAVE

This thing works perfectly! I cannot go up on a ladder, because of a balance issue. I was staring at the lone functioning light bulb in the 18 foot ceiling of my garage...and then it went out. Even if I bought a 14 foot ladder, and then talked someone into climbing it, have you priced 14 foot ladders?This device worked perfectly. I used the attachment meant for "normal" light bulbs, carefully tightening the thumb screw. Then put the poke sections together until it easily reached the burned out bulbs, ( I had 4), unscrewed them, and put 4 new bulbs in. Perfection! Independence! Safety! What more could a woman ask for? Highly recommended. Getting one for my parents. They are in their 80s, and really shouldn't be climbing a ladder, either.

build quality is cheap, amazon has to have farmed the reviews on this product. If you only need to put light bulbs in, then this the product for you! If you need to take a light bulb out, don't waste your time, as each and every section will come undone if you try to turn counter clockwise. This is the 3rd product I purchased on amazon this month that felt cheap, poorly designed and generally deceptive. Do better amazon.

I've had 2 burned out lights in my living room with 12 foot ceilings for months now, the only thing stopping me from replacing them is the hassle of dragging out a ladder and setting it up. This lightbulb changer changes all of that including multiple extensions so you could change out a light maybe even 20ft up. Goes together easy and the the gripper part does a great job of being able to unscrew and screw in bulbs.

Minor first-time learning curve but super helpful even for my lower ceilings where I can’t reach the can lights without a ladder. Realized I needed to make sure everything was screwed together tight to prevent the pole pieces unscrewing as I twisted the bulb (easy adjustment). And I was a bit afraid to grab the standard light bulb with the smaller attachment, but I went for it and it worked great.

I was able to take out a large bulb and put in a smaller bulb in an inset fixture with ease. I am 75, and climbing a ladder to put a bulb in a fixture 10 feet off the floor is not a good idea these days. This was a great help. I haven't a clue how to use the suction changer, but I dont need it.

Returned because the suction cup included to remove recessed lightbulb would not cling to it after multiple attempts.

I was a bit skeptical about using this product to replace 4 LIFX light bulbs that are 17 feet high. The end of the 4 bulbs have a flat shape, so i was able to use the suction cup attachment to remove and replace the lights. Due to the height, i also used an 8 foot ladder for a bit more stability and reach.It was a bit nerve racking as I was worried the suction may not hold the light bulb, but the suction maintained a strong grip and I was able to easily release once the bulb was screwed in by pulling on a string attached to the suction cup.
