Yes, they do get fluffier and softer after washing as stated.Pros: These towels are soft and fluffy and get softer, fluffier and more absorbent after a few washes. They, like Turkish towel, dry quickly, even in humid climates. They also seem fairly well constructed and didn't have stray threads. At around US$22 at the time of purchase, a fantastic deal.Cons: None

Years ago I found a towel set at Costco that quickly became out favorite. Husband doesn't like the super thick Pottery Barn towels, and others have gotten flat, even with the use of vinegar in the rinse cycle and no fabric softener. I've searched for years to find towels like the ones from Costco, but the style name only turns up white hotel style towels. White wouldn't work for us. I finally decided to look up towels by manufacturer, Wellspun, and not style name, Grandeur, and I found these towels. It's the perfect towel for us. Make sure to wash them before using them for the first time in order to make them fluff up.

The towels are very soft and fluffy after washing. They feel so nice on the skin. It gives me something to look forward to after my bath. They wash up really nice.

Great towel. Love them BUT .. I ordered 2 sets for my new house. I didnt even take them out of the packaging because i was moving in a month... Literally just unpacked them one came with ome wash cloth missing. Not okay.

The towels were flimsy and did not appear to be solidly constructed. We didn't bother to take them out wash and dry to see if they'd perk up. We'd hoped for a thicker and heavier towel.

Soft absorbing and good value. I have much more and these work just as well in absorbing water yet are so soft

They as they is said, thick and fluffy, and after washing they are even better.
