Nice to draw with
These pens come in 21 different colours giving you all the range you would probably need. They are water based and as such are solvent free and odourless. To get the paint to flow you need to depress the point of the pen many times, but once it starts to flow, the pen draws neatly and cleanly.I used them on a piece of card and they dried quickly and the lines were nice and fine. My Granddaughter borrowed some to use in her artwork and again the finish was really good.I also used them on a glazed ceramic plate. The paint took longer to dry as it was not absorbent, but when it was dry, I very easily wiped it off with a damp cloth which surprised me.The QR code takes you to the website where it says to finish drawings on ceramic with a layer of varnish which will solve the problem but is an added layer of work.At £58.63, I felt they were very expensive for what they were, but my Granddaughter disagreed saying they were magnificent and worth every penny.

Great pens, poor packaging.
I got these pens because I was interested in trying paint pens. I am aware that the Posca brand is a good one so I wanted to see how these performed. I have to say that I was not disappointed at all in terms of performance I tried these on my canvas trainers first and found that I was able to add a really cute rainbow using the pens to the back of the trainer and so far it has stood up to reign and mud pretty well. I have also tried using these on a glass coaster and on a clay vase. on both occasions, the pens did really well, went on smoothly and were very easy to manipulate allowing me to do quite an intricate design with multiple colours very easily.Overall, these paint pens are very good albeit at the price year end of the options. For the quality though I think they are worth paying for. My only niggle, and the reason that I've given them four stars, is that they arrive in a really cheap looking plastic package which ripped on the 1st opening and also had the label all bunched up which meant that they were useless for gifting and were particularly useful to store either.
