I can shave my beard MICRO close with this on the lowest setting. Way closer than my hair clippers that I have had for 20 years. And at my age with less hair, and always keeping it short, this thing can probably replace my hair clippers now.I used it in the shower with success. I like that I can rinse the hair right off the blades immediately. I was concerned about getting water in the USB port since it has no plug, but it is located on the bottom, and I assumed since there was a picture of water splashing all over the front of the box, and it said "waterproof"....I decided to use it in the shower. I just was careful not to turn it upside down in the shower to prevent water going directly into the USB charging port. I didn't see any official IP water proof rating, so again, I'm going off the picture on the box, and the wording in the ad that says "waterproof", FWIW.I'm not a fan of the clipper heads being plastic and snapping on and off. Most likely, I'll only swap out ocassionally when I cut my hair once a month. I'm just concerned about total life longevity. That said, I have another "personal trimmer" that I bought about 10 years ago, and it still works great, and it has the same mechanical mechanism inside the trimmer heads. So looking at the current price, I think it may as well last about the same time, and for that, I can recommend it. For the assortment of heads and MANY levels of adjustment, AND the lowest, closest trim that I've ever had... I would definitely recommend this.

Affordable and definitely user friendly! Water proof design too. Easy to clean, hold and handle! Cuts well! Great buy overall! Good battery life!

This has been such a great buy! It’s multifunctional and comes with a ton of different sized guards, which makes it really versatile. My husband uses it to keep his beard looking neat, and I use it to shave his head. It works perfectly for both.It’s easy to use and glides smoothly against his scalp and face.For the price, it’s an amazing all-in-one grooming tool. Definitely recommend!

This trimmer is good quality and well made. The motor is powerful and relatively quiet. I get a clean and even cut, and it does not pull or tug my hair. I love that it is waterproof and can be used in the shower. It comes with several attachments that are useful and give me options. I think this would make a great gift idea.

I got this for my son and he uses it regularly. It has a good range of guides, and the precision dial is a nice function. Blades are sharp and the trimmer cuts hair well. It overheats a bit quickly but overall it’s a nice clipper. Charges quickly and the charge lasts a long time. It’s easy to clean and overall a good value.

The trimmer stopped recharging after the first recharge.

So regret returning this promptly. It has so many attachments -- cutting heads and combs, mostly superfluous, not easy to fit -- that you will spend more time trying to get the proper set up to trim your beard than actually trimming. It's quite heavy, has good battery life, and is sharpe. But just too troublesome to use. Going to Goodwill.
