It was fairly simple to install the battery pack into the Wii remotes and once they're in, it stays on pretty flush. The charging cradle works instantly once I place my Wii remote where I never had to finick around with it for the charging to start. The lights are bright and show up orange when charging, and in the case of my picture my remote is fully charged as it turned blue. Very convenient to use and saves me money from never buying and using AA batteries again for this system.

I was surprised to find this battery set for our old Wii controllers. I've been using rechargeable batteries because they eat batteries pretty quickly, but it was a nuisance to take the controllers apart and put the batteries into chargers before each gaming session. (Life is tough, isn't it?) This set makes it more convenient, and I suppose you could leave the controllers in the charger so they are ready any time. Extra points for including the USB adapter in the set, but I deducted one star because the contacts in the charger are a bit touchy. The controllers have to be positioned just right to be charged, so when the LED turns green, you have to check that the batteries are really charged and the controllers didn't just get bumped out of position.

Good quality charges just as good as the original. Durable.
