Narrow Foot, High Arch walking on clouds
I have a narrow foot and high arch. These shoes perfectly accommodate both! I bought my usual size and they fit -perfectly- the straps adjust so I suspect a wider foot could wear them by loosening the straps a bit. They are the most comfortable shoes I have bought in about 11 years! I feel like I'm walking on clouds! They are really sturdy and have the comfort, support and durability of a hiking shoe in a sandal. When I first put them on I felt the decorative lines under my foot. It went away (or I quickly adjusted) by the end of the day. VERY sturdy feeling shoe with a nice look. I hope to have these for as many years (11) as my previous hurricanes. :-)

Would buy again.
First off: this sandal is, as advertised, extremely comfortable. It's not exactly a looker, but it's inoffensive and forgettable, and you can't ask for much more in a sport sandal. I expect to be able to wear it with a skirt and look passably dressed up while I'm on the road. That said, on my first outing wearing this shoe, it was a fairly hot day (85 degrees or so) and my feet, naturally, sweated a bit. I wound up with a large blister on the outside of both my feet, along with a series chafe along the back of one of my heels and another two blisters right under the ball of my foot. This may simply be that I walked too far on my first outing. I walked about 5 miles, which is normal for me, but may not have been enough for me to work in this sandal. I'll update as I go along - it's coming with me on a long trip, and I'll have lots more time to wear it mile by mile and see how it shapes up over time. The sandals I received were also a little damaged - the two layers of the straps were coming apart. It's an easy fix with superglue, but frankly that's not really a fix I wanted to make on a brand-new shoe. The straps do adjust very nicely and hold well, and for a wide foot like mine, that's a big plus.I'll update this review as I walk along.UPDATE: I walked over 1500 miles in these and they're still a great shoe. Just recently, the insole fell apart, but that's to be expected with the amount of use I gave them. Very comfortable, and the issues with chafing wasn't a problem over time, I think it's just the shiny newness of the shoe that was the issue.I'm still a little miffed that I had to mend the shoe first thing, so I'm docking one star for that, but I'd buy them again.

SUPER comfortable!!
I am HUGELY obsessed with finding the most comfortable sandals! I also have, specifically, a love for *sport sandals* in particular. The main features any shoe/sandal MUST have for me to buy/wear it are EXCELLENT ARCH SUPPORT and they must be WIDE ENOUGH for my C - D width foot. ...hard to find! These fit the bill! Not only that, but the foot bed is cushioned just enough (especially where really needed ...the HEEL!), they are durable, come in a wide variety of colors and are adjustable to fit even MORE comfortably! One problem I sometimes have with sandals is the ankle strap rubbing/bumping/scraping my ankle bone, but these sit low enough to not even touch! The padded lining underneath/skin-side is soft/padded enough so there is no rubbing/scratching/digging at all. I am a true 8 1/2 (most of the time) & these fit perfectly in that size (but I have them also in a 9 & that size works well too with just 1/4 inch extra length for my long toes & maybe accommodates my width slightly better). They really do have the support, stability & security of a sneaker, as many reviewers have stated, & I have even noticed that "bouncy"/ springy feeling in my step that I've read in comments too!Great all-around sandal! Highly Recommended by this picky, particular, very selective, fussy sandal-person!!

Really great sandals, happy with this purchase!
I had tried on the non-leather version of this sandal at a local sporting goods store. The price was about $30.00 higher at the store. I decided to shop online to see if I could find them a bit cheaper. Amazon had them at a better price and also in the leather version which I love. They are cute, comfortable and perfect for summer. I do a lot of walking and these are wonderful, offering support and yet keeping your feet cool. The color combo is just what I was looking for. I wear a size 8 and these adjust to fit perfectly. Very happy and I'll be wearing these all summer long!

Good but not as good...
I liked the Teva Women's Tirra Athletic Sandal so much, I also bought the Teva Tirra Leather sandal. The Tirra Leather runs a half-size smaller than the Tirra Athletic sandal, which is a PERFECT sandal IMO. I wear a size 6.5 in the Tirra Athletic but had to re-order the Tirra Leather in a size 7. The Tirra Athletic has an ultra-comfortable footbed, while the Tirra Leather's is made of suede-like fabric that is not quite as comfortable as the rubber. I can feel the ridges in the foot bed of the Leather when the sole flexes as I walk. It's very annoying, but I think it will be less so once they're broken in. My feet are medium width, almost narrow, with a narrow heel. In the arch area, my feet take up the entire width of the foot bed, something to consider if a person has wide feet. The rest of the shoe bed has ample room. These shoes are somewhat clunkier than the Tirra Athletic. What really ticked me off was its used condition with no effort to present a new or nearly new appearance. The first pair I returned because they were too small. It was obvious from the packaging and condition of both pairs that they were "used" goods that had been returned for whatever reason. I assumed that's why they are almost half the price of the Teva Tirra Athletic although they are supposedly leather. I decided to keep them because they're a little dressier-looking than the Athletics. The loops in the back serve no useful purpose so I intend to cut them off or let the shoe shop guy do it. All in all, both Tevas offer EXCELLENT arch support and comfort for my flat feet.
