Wasn't sure what to do when the tracking on my TV's component input went wonky: converters for component-to-HDMI looked expensive and a bit confusing with settings for screen size and so on.On a whim I looked for a specific Wii to HDMI adapter, and there this was, cheaper than a generic component-to-HDMI, and much simpler.I was a little skeptical of the reviews, since it's one of those rebranded Chinese products that tend to get pumped up reviews for a free product, but on the plus side I was able to look around to find the cheapest reseller.It's neat, small, and works well with an HDMI cable I already had.The picture and sound are fine. I haven't done a straight comparison with the old component output, but there are no strange video artefacts and the sound is clean and clear.Great work for such a cheap little box.It does need about five inches clearance at the back. If I was to improve it I'd put it on a short flex so it can move up or sideways.

we lost the standard lead which came with the Wii, so I bought this and it does the job perfectly. The only thing which could be annoying for some (this is being picky) the adapter is quite stumpy and comes out a bit. its fine for us because the console does not get pushed up against a wall. but it could be a problem if the Wii gets pushed back to the wall with adapter in and the hdmi lead. hard to explain. Don't be put off it is a great device and works really well

So I had an issue at start where I was only getting audio and no picture. I was on the verge of returning the item but then found this YouTube review where it said I need to change the wii settings to 480p. Lucky I have a spare tv which takes rca connectivity. So I was able to change the setting. This should be mentioned with the device.

The plastic casing felt cheap and had some wobble in it but this isn’t a problem as it doesn’t effect its operation.Converts to HDMI well with good audio quality for the price

It only worked for 8 days and had to be returned for a price refund. Now using a slightly Cheapesmore expensive RCA to HDMI converter that works well.

Helaas producr niet aan de praat kunnen krijgen in combinatie met mijn Samsung qled tv.
