I have several beach condos and I bought these to protect the pillows. They are the best quality of any I have bought. They are smooth, completely quiet, and waterproof. They wash beautifully and hold up. They don't breath, or breath so slowly it's the same as not breathable. So like anything completely waterproof, they will balloon up when you lay on it. To avoid that, buy them a little big like Queen for Standard. This gives the air somewhere to go, but you will have that extra material. Or deflate your pillow a little when zipping, this helps. Or you can leave the zipper a little unzipped. The zipper is not on the end, it's about an inch or so down, so it cups the end of the pillow to prevent the pillow from sliding out. It also has a flap the is behind the zipper, so if water goes in through the zipper there is a layer behind. This is better than other styles if you want to leave the zipper unzipped a little to breathe. The con is the zipper pull can be on the side of the pillow your face is on, half way down if you've unzipped it half way. But you can flip the pillow over in that case.I also bought fancy Nanotec pillowcases "waterproof" & breathable. Spent a fortune on those. I tested then and yes the water beaded up. But after one wash that went away, or when you rubbed the beaded water it soaked through. I didn't notice that until later. So not waterproof for practical use as a pillow. But they do protect the pillow from bed bugs etc, and they breathe. So I use those first, heck couldn't return them, then these on top partially unzipped. That is the best way I've found so far (Dec 2015) to protect the pillows, keep everything fresh no matter the treatment the pillow may get.

These are great, not noisy and don't sound or feel like plastic.They keep my pillows fresh and clean.

These are well made pillow covers. Not too plasticy and they are comfortable. I like that they aren't noisy when you move your head.

Fit pillows perfectly (queen size) they did not smell badly when I removed them from the package. Washed them before using and since they are waterproof and some water collected inside the pillow cover I had to lightly wipe some of it out with a hand towel. Then I placed in dryer to dry. They are soft and not noisy or rough when laying on the pillow. Good produce for a good price.

These added substance and visual appeal to our pillows. Solidly constructed, Four pack is a great value.

I am disabled and live in government housing. This building is infested. I have no bugs and would like to keep it that way and keep everything in these. My landlords are not the best when it comes to pest control and I have found these critters crawling out cracks and crevices in walls the landlords refuse to caulk. One time is enough with bed bugs so now I live out of these things. They make great laundry bags also, your clothes are all zipped in so nothing to tempt the little critters.They are pretty waterproof, but machine washable which is nice as I drop at least one glass of tea or cup of coffee on myself a month. They do stain easily from the coffee, but no complaints and easy care. They are pretty soft for a waterproof product and no complaints there plus no crinkly noise.My only complaint is they are a bit warm when sleeping.

I bought these for a client who experienced a condo bed bug infestation to protect their items from infestation. The pillow protectors are of great quality. However, of more importance is they are soft, breathable, and protect pillows from bed bugs infestations. They also protect the user from dust mites (very tiny) if they are sensitive to them.Highly recommend!

I actually liked them so much I have one for every pillow in my house (it's a lot of pillows...) and am now about to order one for my dog's bed, because he's always getting it stinky and I'm having to wash it every week.First off (this may be TMI), I originally bought this pillow protector for a pillow I use to support my infant while I breastfeed. Occasionally breast milk would get on the pillow, or he'd spit up curdled milk (which sometimes smells like actual rotten milk), or a diaper would leak, etc. so I'd have to wash the pillow itself. I have enough laundry to do without having to worry about pillows, so this seemed like a great idea. It has definitely done its job.Now, my two year old can get pretty sweaty or drooly (stinkyness!) when he sleeps and before he was potty trained he'd have an occasional leak, which would get on his pillows from the way he likes to snuggle with them. Good thing I had extra protectors! These things are really great I haven't had to wash a pillow in a very long time.They are definitely water-proof, and I just now poured some water on one and took a picture of it so you can see for yourself. They are also quiet, sometimes I forget the pillows are protected at all, they're no different than the average pillow case. I have not had any problems with any of the zippers -- and I've used them several times for zipping and they've also withstood my washer/dryer. I'd say the best thing about them, is that they are somehow odor-proof. Like I stated earlier, my little one would spit up nasty milk and no idea how this would happen, but when I was able to get back to the pillow to wash the case, I couldn't find the spot he spit up on because there was no smell or visual spot left behind. I actually rarely wash the protectors, but do wash the pillow cases I put over them every week with all the other bedding.I'd say if you purchase this and have an opposite experience, contact the seller for an exchange, or if you have Prime, just return it for a refund or exchange as you probably got something defective.

Pros:- Cost is great. I paid about $2 more than they usually are because I needed them right away, but it feels like a good deal.- Two in one order - many competitors only had one cover per order- NO NOISE - I was paranoid about this, but I do not notice any sounds at all- My pillow is protected now from bedbugs, liquids, etc. Woo!Cons:- They do trap a bit of air, so sometimes you can notice a ballooning effect, but after a second the air escapes slowly and your pillow just feels like normal

Is comfortable to sleep on, thought it would be noisy but it is quite and given the pillows a new lease of life. Quick delivery considering it came from the USA.
