ELACSensible Speaker Cables (15ft Pair)

These speaker cables replaced a brand costing twice as much that is heavily advertised in magazines each month. The Elac cables provide a very satisfying sound with my Heresy IV speakers. Audition them is my advice should you want to get the best from your speakers without breaking the bank.

These are very well made speaker wires that sound very good too. They are well constructed with nice banana plugs and aesthetically pleasing as well. I replaced home made speaker wire that consisted of Monoprice 12 AWG cable and Monoprice Gold banana plugs. The quality improvement in construction is leaps and bounds above Monoprice. I'm not convinced that speaker wire above a certain caliber makes a large enough audible difference to justify the pricing, but these do sound very good, I hear full range with all the detail, nuance, texture, soundstage, imaging, etc. Highly recommend.

They've been exactly what I was looking for. My new amp wouldn't take banana plugs so I had to strip the ends down. Felt terrible about it.

Another great product from Elac

The connections have already separated after one use. It now looks very weak for way too much money. The igear brand from Amazon is the far better buy!

Using these from a Technics 1200 MK7 on a NAD 316BEE to Dali Oberon 1’s. Clean sound!!

Also hörbaren unterschied zu meinen selbst konfektionierten kabel aus dem Baumarkt ist riesig, obwohl ich bei den dünnen litzen bei 4,5m Länge skeptisch war. Kann nur weiter empfehlen.

I Was looking for a well made and not too expensive speaker cable for a little sound system in my office. After reading the reviews I decided to try these Elac. I hook them up to my main system (Moon amp with ProAc speaker) to test them. After a few days of breaking in I sat down to listen to a few CDs and was amazed of how good they sound for the price compared to my high end cables. These Elac cables are well made and will let you hear a lot of details for such a reasonable price.

I bought these cables for a lesser system in my garage. They’re exactly what I wanted for that purpose. Any ‘audiophile’ would know that there are multitudes of better cables available. These do the job and are well made in Germany which I have a high regard for. Many ‘high end’ cables are ridiculously over priced and in my opinion don’t make a whole lot of difference between them. These are fine cables but I probably wouldn’t buy them for my home stereo because in this case I’ve found speaker cables at twice the price of these with three times the sound quality. But they are good cables in any case with nice tight connectors.

Kabel fühlt sich hochwertig und angenehm an.Optisch wirkt es in Ordnung. Ob das preislich gerechtfertigt ist kann ich leider nicht beurteilen da ich ja nicht sehe wie es innen drin aussieht. Und was ich ganz stark bemängel ist dass keine vernünftigen Angaben über das Kabel irgendwo ersichtlich sind weder den Querschnitt des innenliegenden Kabels noch die genaue Materialbeschaffenheit, Widerstand des Kabels und sonstige technische Daten die wichtig sind von daher finde ich den Preis nicht gerechtfertigt meiner Meinung nach.

Good quality, not too stiff, noticed improvement in sound. But then again I had zip wire. For the money, these are a real option.
