Its best to get the spare parts such as the gum stimulator from the original maker for a good fit. The cats use it to brush & rub their gums, apply some cat toothpaste with catnips to encourage dental hygiene.

I already owned the catit "massage center," which my cats love. i was horrified when my dog decided to massage HER gums and chewed the entire gum stimulator off!! what upset me the most was that i thought that there was no way to replace it.....i had no idea i could buy them separately. i was delighted when i came across them on here, and promptly ordered them. my kitties and i are happy to have the massage center back in it's full capacity!! needless to say, we will be keeping it FAR out of the dog's reach!! =^..^=

Once I figured out how to disassemble the original gadget (it had been over a year since I put it together), this was great. Some cats will like these more than others, but if you are in need of replacements, then you already know which camp your cat's in.

My only worry is if they'd ever discontinue this product, since my cat loves it so much that I have to regularly replace it. She doesn't care about the massage center anyway, but she chews this gum stimulator a lot.

Chaplin - my cat I rescued from a recycle box last winter, plays football soccer with this EVERY MORNING. He's so adept with his ball handling I am sure the Team USA soccer team would have used him.He digs it.

My cats did use it, at first I did not see him doing anything just smelling then a few minutes later he was chewing on the tip. It's suppose to be good for the teeth.

I don't have the Catit station that these gum stimulators are supposed to go on. Perhaps my cat would be more interactive with them If I did.What I have done is drilled holes in her scratching post and inserted the gum stimulators into the post at a 45 degree upward angle. They are at easy sitting height. Yet I haven't seen her chew on them at all. :-(

I have two cats. One of them loved to chew on things. She chewed all the rubbers off the door stoppers in the house. I got this for her and she loves it. She goes through it fast but at least I know she is chewing on her toy and not ingesting my things. The tip gets all mushy and she does not eat pieces of it. I think it's pretty safe for her compared to other alternatives. I highly recommend if your cat it a nibbler.

My cats like the weirdest things, like the knob-cap thing that goes on closet racks. I thought I'd get them these not to insert on whatever thing it's supposed to be used as, but rather just keep them lying around for them to chew on and bat at. And that's exactly what's been happening for the last hour from the moment I opened these.I don't think they'll wear down any time soon since they're not necessarily chewing on them, but if I ever lose them, I will buy more!

These little gum stimulators fit into the slot on top of the old (Hagen) Cat Sp as well as the newer Cat It one. My cat loves to chew on them and the new ones mean she isn't as likely to be swallowing plastic if I change them beofre she bites off pieces. I was delighted to find them as I had been looking for them
