New Mountain Bike wouldn't fit onto my trunk-mount bike rack. This fixed it, instantly. My bike is an e-Bike, so it weighs almost 50lbs. No problem at all with the weight. Mechanism worked easily.Just note: the two ends are slightly different sizes, so one naturally fit best at the stem, and the other at the seat. Be sure to try both ways so you find your fit.

This product works perfectly for adapting step-through bikes for the Swagman Bike Carrier. Sturdy construction and easy to use.

I bought this bike bar because my MTB bike was being rested on the shock and I didn't want to damage it. It feels very high quality and it adjusts to your bike's length.I forgot to take a picture of my bike mounted, but I recently purchased a bike for my mother and I needed to use it for that bike as well and it worked equally well on her medium sized bike. I highly recommend this bar if you have a trunk mounted rack vs a hitch mounted.

We got this for use with my wife's Giant Sedona bicycle. We use it on an Allen Sports bike rack.To make it work we had to put one end on the seat and the other end on the top tube where it comes up at an angle on a ladies bike. It has worked great for that purpose and made it a lot easier to get the bike on and off. The two telescoping halves are pulled together with an elastic cord. While i was concerned about this when we first got it, all the weight of the bike is down through the bars and when clamped on the halves won't move, so this is not really an issue. Still, the cord seems like a weak link.We have found two issues in actual use:1. One time one of the jaws popped open. It didn't have any impact on performance (The weight of the bike and my extra bungee cords kept everything together) but it was a little disconcerting. Be sure to double check that it has fully locked.2. While the outside is nicely powder coated the inside is not. It has a lot of rust inside the tubes from driving with our bikes in the rain. It does not impact functionality but it does make me wonder how long it will last.At the end of the day this bar was worth the price and has served well.

I use these cross-bars on two step-thru bikes secured on a hitch mounted bike rack with clamp-down j-hooks. The ends of the bars have a thick rubber coating which keeps them from scratching the bikes. They're very easy to use, and fully protected my bikes. I've talked two long trips with them and had no issues.

This is very easy to put on, and the clips are rubber(?) coated so they don't scratch the bike. This is perfect! I am so glad I paid the extra money for this one.

I like the ease of installation. I needed this for my Trek Marlin 6 MTB for use with Swagman's bike rack. In order for it to work really nice in my application, I purchased and installed an accessory clamp from Summit Racing to my seat drop post that provides a solid support anchor for the end of the bar closest to the seat.

Buttons and levers are smooth to open, I had another brand and it was to hard to open. Quality is good
