Excellent bike
1. Delivery: Delivered by Amazon and carried up 32 steps by the delivery person! I was very impressed and thankful, as my back is not as tolerant as it once was. Packaging was well done and there were no scrapes/dings/damage to bike. It took around 30 minutes to unpack.2. Assembly: Instructions were detailed and easy to follow. My mechanical skills are somewhat south of neanderthal, but I had it together by myself in about 90 minutes, including bathroom breaks. Two people might have made it easier, but certainly pretty basic assembly, as the major parts - flywheel and frame, came as one piece. All needed tools were included, as were some extra screws and bolts. Parts were all machined to a high degree and holes were all aligned perfectly. This is not a cheap product - it feels and looks very well made.3. Function: Very quiet and smooth. Quite sturdy - not perhaps as much as the $2000 brand name models, but certainly fine for most home users. We have used it on a tiled floor and on a pile carpet. It is more sturdy on the hard floor. As others have noted, the handles are designed to be loose, to allow for ease of access. One criticism I have is the lack of a backlit screen on the display. My wife has vision problems and cannot make out the screen at all. My vision is fine and I can barely see the numbers. We have to use a flashlight to see the screen. Given the advances in technology today, I do not think it is too much to ask for a better lit screen. I bet some 17 year old genius could design an inexpensive battery that would power a backlight and could be recharged from the action of the flywheel - never have to replace the batteries! In fact, you could adapt a charging mechanism similar to the hand-crank chargers available on the internet. That way, you could charge your iPhone/iPad while you work out!4. Health objective: This product will not turn you into a triathlete, but it will fulfill the objective of a non-impact exercise that will give a cardiovascular benefit and burn some calories. Both my wife and I are in our 70’s and have back issues. The recumbent position takes a significant amount of strain off your lower back, that even walking can cause. My back bothered me too much to walk today, but I did just fine on this recumbent bike. Plus, its raining outside and having this bike inside my home is wonderful.

Excellent Product!! Smooth, solid and very quiet!
This bike is everything it is advertised to be. Solid construction, mostly easy assembly (one of the trim pieces was annoying, smooth pedaling, and very quiet. Does not take up much space either. I am a big guy and it's vey comfortable and feels solid under me, not rickety or loose feeling. The display is good and back and forth so you can you can adjust how it sits.

This bike is silent when riding!
I love this recumbent exercise bike! It claims to be "whisper quiet" but it is actually totally silent. I can watch TV while I ride and don't have to turn the volume up at all.The seat is super comfortable with support for my bad back. It's lighter and easier to move than I expected. The cup holder is nice and deep so my water bottle fits perfectly, but it's a little hard to reach if you have long legs.My husband assembled it and it took a couple of hours, but it was straightforward. Just lots of steps and it's pretty solid once it was finished.Lots of variations of resistance levels to choose from, which I like.I would give it 5 stars, but the display isn't readable unless it's in direct light. I don't want to sit in direct light when I exercise, so I have to use my iPhone flashlight whenever I want to see the display. Mildly annoying. The display provides the info I want, and it's easy to reset each time I ride. All considered, this was a good choice.

Excellent product
I assembled this unit yesterday and got my first 30 minute workout on it this morning. Here are my impressions:Assembly directions are detailed and very accurate. The only issues I had was with bracket for holding the seat unit (item #20) in place. I spent a good bit of time searching through all of the parts thinking either I had misplaced it or it was not included, only to find it bolted in place to the unit. Also had the same issues with the screws to hold the digital screen, already in the back of that piece. As one reviewer has pointed out, getting the two bolts that hold the seat unit in place is a bit of a PITA. I strongly recommend lying down next to the unit to get a full view of the work area. Don't try to do it blindly by feel. Also as noted elsewhere, the bracket attached with two bolts to the front of the unit is meant to serve as a handle to get the unit in place. It is then removed and not used in the actual assembly. They also provide a good bit of extra fastener hardware so you will have a bit of a pile of stuff left over when completed. My first workout was very positive. I do a lot of road biking and have spent a lot of time in the off season on trainers and stationary bikes. Full disclosure, this unit is for my wife, but I expect to make regular use of it as well. This is my first experience with a recumbent. I found it to be very solid, smooth, and quiet. The tension range seems more than adequate for a good workout. I'm 5'11"/ 150 lbs. Being in a recumbent position will definitely take some getting used to but I expect it may offer less wear and tear on my aging hips.Areas for improvement: the floppy handles by the seat are a little weird. I guess it may be useful to get them out of the way... I wish the digital readout included cadence. I did connect with Kimomap without any issues. That seems to work pretty well but with a small delay in getting data from the bike to the kinomap display. So when you pick up the cadence, you won't see it reflected on the kinomap disply for 10 seconds or so. Kinomap does show cadence and watts. You get 2 weeks free then it is $12 per month. The manual shows that it can also connect with Zwift. The tray for holding an iPad, etc. would benefit from a wider rim at the bottom. Also be aware that this unit is heavy. It is maneuverable but takes some effort to get the back end up to move it around. Not a complaint, just a fact. All in all, highly recommended.P.S. After using this a few times, I can agree with another reviewer that mentioned how stiff the seat is. I definitely recommend an additional seat cushion. Keep in mind that the on a recumbent, your butt is parked on the seat and carrying most of your weight 100% of the time. There is no getting out of the saddle to give your butt a break as there is on a conventional bike.
