Having had leaky cars parked on our grey brick driveway over the years, a 2x1 metre patch looked pretty dire. I had tried OT8 a couple of years ago, which is based on oil-eating bacteria, with minimal benefit. I tried again a couple of months ago, but no better. Reading the label again, it said "Not for use on synthetic oil stains. Mineral oils only." Aaaahhhh.....Modern multigrade oils are all synthetic, and I run even a 52 years-old car on these, which of course leaks! A Google search came up with your Oil Patch Cleaner, which one reviewer rated very highly, adding how he used it. I bought 5 litres, and as he reported, used it neat on the patch, then bass-broomed it in. He used a wire brush. He repeated this action twice more , then left it for an hour. I did exactly the same. I used 2.5 litres in total, quite a bit for a small area, and brushing it in prodced a lot of foaming brown-stained gunk. Not smelly, just obviously working.Pressure washing it off was a bit messy, as oily water went in all directions, but spraying the splashed areas washed it all off easily. I went off and let it dry out completely. What I then saw was pretty spectacular. I'd missed some outer spots, and not worked hard enough on the deepest stains, but very acceptable. The stains must date back 15 years. After is on the left, before is on the right when fitting our new garage door. I was deeply sceptical that I was going to get any better than a 50% job, but I was absolutely wrong. 90% now and enough product for another couple of goes. I will chalk mark the area or spots this time, to be sure of getting it all. And delighted to be proved wrong! With 5 cars ranging from 52 to 21 years old, this problem will return, but no longer need I have to put up with the consequences.

Fantastic product! Completely removes oil stains
I have a number of classic cars that drop oil. My block paving drive bore the scars of over a decade of drips. I’ve tried pressure washing and brush treatment products with little success. Until now! Brushed this product on, left it & spray washed it off. A decade’s grime gone! Recommended!

It works. 🍄
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this oil patch cleaner in order to remove a highly visible car engine oil stain from my block paving. The oil stain had been in place for over 12 months so it was ingrained and horrible looking. This oil stain remover is supposed to be used neat, which I did. I chose a dry day, removed any debris from the area of the oil stain, poured the liquid directly onto the stain and then scrubbed with a stiff wire brush. I repeated this process twice and then left some more fluid to soak into said oil stain. After an hour I repeated the entire process again before I pressure washed the driveway completely. The oil stain remover doesn't smell too toxic and it foams when water is added to it. The5 litre container goes a long way and was relatively easy to pour onto the drive.Because the original oil stain was highly water resistant due to the nature of oil causing a sort of waterproof barrier, it did take some effort to break down the bulk of said oil stain but once I'd started the process I could definitely see that my efforts were starting to work. To be honest the oil stain was that bad, I didn't expect to get the great results that I ended up with! The oil stain hasn't gone completely I would add but I am happily surprised with the results. I've saved enough of this oil stain remover to do one more complete treatment of my driveway, plus another pressure washer clean. I confident that if I'd have had a steam pressure clean done on my drive, in conjunction with this oil stain remover, I'd have got rid of over 95% of said oil stain, I don't think that I'd have got rid of 100% of the stain though as the nature of the brick itself makes them highly absorbant and allows them to retain some of the oil forever.Overall I quite pleased with the results! When the drive is now dry the old oil stain is only slightly noticeable and on a day when the air is sum what damp the old pil stain is now invisible. If I had to buy an oil stain remover in the future I'd buy this one again and I'd recommend it to friends and family. You will have to work at getting rid of the old oil stain though, this is a given but depending on the surface that you're using it on you might get even better results than I did.

Did a pretty good job
Didn't remove 100% of the oil but it's way better than it was. Worth buying.

Fantastic experience overall. Will recommend to friends and family.
1. Shake the bottle well before use. 2. Apply the cleaner directly onto the oil stain. 3. Let it sit for a few minutes to allow the cleaner to penetrate the stain. 4. Scrub the area with a brush or sponge. 5. Rinse the area thoroughly with water.
