I recently visited a Korean BBQ place nearby, and ever since, I've wanted to get a grill like the ones they use. Living in a studio flat with no friends and a non-existent social life (hence why I’m wasting my time writing this review) means an outdoor BBQ is out of the question for me. I started searching on Amazon for a similar grill and found a few that cost only £35. However, most of them didn’t have any way to control the heat or a timer. And let’s be honest, I’m no Gordon Ramsay; I need a timer and step-by-step instructions to create anything edible. So, although the price was a bit steep, I decided to buy this one. I managed to get it for £125, and knowing I got it at a discounted price made my Indian ancestors proud.I was so excited when the grill arrived. It was shiny and looked very modern and sleek. I immediately felt like I had a futuristic, sophisticated grill that could transform me into an Indian Ramsay (well, halfway there, at least). It has a preheat function that lets you know when to put the meat on and a timer that automatically turns off the grill. There’s also an easily removable drip tray to collect excess oil, and the grill pan itself is very non-stick and easy to wash. Although it came with some waffle-making attachments, I’ve never used them.The only small gripe I have, apart from the price (which it fully deserves), is the space it takes up. I’ve seen a model by a different brand that doesn’t have most of the features this one does, but it can be stored vertically in the kitchen once you’ve finished cooking. A feature like that would have been extremely helpful. But it is what it is.I just really hope they don’t drop the price below £125, or that would make me a bit sad.Overall, I’d give this grill a solid 10/10.

This is quite bulky to keep on a worktop, but easy to pick up & put in a cupboard. Very versatile, easy to change plates for different items. Easy to lie flat to use as a double plate. Very large cooking surfaces. (Including a waffle plate for 4 waffles). Once you get used to operating it, it’s great. Not particularly user friendly if you’re unfamiliar with it. Multiple time and temperature settings enabling a wide variety of different cooking options (for fish, steak, gammon, toasties etc). I use this at least a couple of times a week & so far it’s great!

I bought this because I wanted to make waffles, and since this has removable plates, I can use it for everything else, too! Mine heats evenly and works well. I have made waffles, pancakes, steaks, chicken, and grilled vegetables. The plates are easy to change and easy to clean. I bought a dust cover for a portable grill so that I can store it on an open shelf.

It’s big enough to toast a few sandwiches at the same time but smaller enough to put away in cupboard.Hinged handle just stays in position / it doesn’t lock.The waffle plate is only none stick one side / shame other side wasn’t made a jaffle (deep fill) plate on other side. Not sure the non-stick coating will last as long as Breville sandwich toaster I’m replacing after 10 years - Breville don’t even make like they used to - don’t make anymore.

The grill heats up real fast and hot. The removable plates make it easier for cleaning. Not too big or small... it's decent size. I opened up 2 sides at 180 and used both sides for big batches of food. The drip tray is removable for cleaning. The customer support was quick in response. Overall happy with it's performance and recommend the product.

This item is great. It has all the bells and whistles, the plates are detachable and it looks great too.

Love, love, love this grill. I had just about had enough with the George Foreman grill. It was such a pain to clean, I avoided using it. I read the reviews on this one and decided to chance it. I have not been disappointed. I love that you can take the grill parts out to clean them. I love that it times itself to heat up. I have used it so many times now, it's such a joy! Salmon steaks cooked with this are amazing.

This device works exceedingly well. Others have criticised the draining of fat into the detachable tray. If you prepare food properly and remove excess fat etc it works as intended. I use it in the kitchen and take it away in my motor home and basically use it like a BBQ for steaks , burgers and kebabs. Lovely. Another bonus is when it is opened up fully I can cook a full English breakfast for 4 with nothing to wash other than the 2 grille plates and breakfast plates and cutlery would recommend.
