Has some nice features especially the cooling one.
The media could not be loaded. This hair removal gun by Milay offers 500K flashes.Do note in the picture I included that this device will not works on blonde , red or gray hair or on very dark skin. The response of the trigger is very good and is also has the option of using it in the automatic setting (good for larger areas) but is a slight less responsive. To put it into the automatic setting you Simple hold the trigger for three seconds and then you can move it around your skin and the flashes will be automatic. My favorite feature is the cooling setting that cools down the metal around the light window and this happens almost instantly after the button is pressed. I can use this gun at higher settings more comfortably because of the cooling setting. This set comes with the dark glasses and I do suggest you wear them because I can see quite a bit of light leakage while using this. The set also includes the power cord, raiser, clear instructions and Q tips (for cleaning). There is an automatic 5 minute shut off if no activity is detected. This is easy to use and the instructions are easy to follow and I especially like the cooling feature that makes it more comfortable to use especially at the higher settings.

Decent IPL hair removal tool adds active cooling (ICE) and a focusing head. 48W. Model T4
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) hair removal has gone mainstream. As a result, you can find a huge number of options for IPL devices on Amazon and elsewhere.I've tried a large number of these IPL devices at this point, and I can say that these IPL devices all work pretty similarly, with only a few differences separating them. If you are looking for hair removal, then the most significant differences mostly amount to ergonomics (shape of the device and positions of the buttons), whether it integrates "ICE" functionality to actively cool the region to which you're applying the light, and the power it uses. This is a mid-priced unit that adds ICE Cooling functionality and a focusing head, along with an upgraded power supply (48W).Specifics of this IPL device:** Only performs hair removal** Includes ICE skin cooling functionality** LCD screen shows the number of flashes left and power level (1-5)** Rated for 48W (medium range)** Preferable convenient "Gun" shaped unit** Includes one optional focuser lens that attaches to the front, if desired, and can be used for the face** Rated for 999,999 flashesUsing very slow-motion photography, I was able to capture a snapshot of the light (see photos). But the light duration is extremely short. You run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair and make sure you expose all the hair follicles in that region. You will not see any immediate results. The light signals your hair to stop growing, but it requires multiple treatments over several weeks before you will be expected to see results. Eventually, you should find a substantial reduction in the hair in the treated areas. In the box, you get the tool, a power cord, one optional focusing lens for the face, a pair of eye protection glasses, a cheap disposable razor, some cotton swabs, plus instructions.A word about the "ice" functionality, because this listing provides almost no detail (nor do those for other IPL devices):Ice functionality is another term for "Local epidermal cooling." This is local cooling of the epidermal region (surface skin) in the region where the IPL light pulse is being applied. The high-powered light can be irritating to some people, and cooling the skin in that region can reduce the immediate irritation. (It does not improve/decrease efficacy of the treatment). In addition to the standard larger IPL light window, one optional focusing window is also included in this kit. If you use this, the flash of light will be focused on a smaller area. This can be useful in areas (underarms, bikini line, lips) where you want a smaller beam of light. The window attaches to the gun magnetically. To the basic stuff that all IPL devices offer, this IPL device adds the "ICE" cooling functionality, the optional focusing head, and the more convenient gun shape, which is my preference for these IPL devices. The rated power is 48W, which is in the middle of the range of power found for these types of devices, and should be sufficient for good operation.Summary:Pros:** Gun shaped** Integrates epidermal cooling (ICE)** LCD readout** Includes additional focusing lens for face** Mid powered (48W)Cons:** No skin rejuvination mode, sometimes found on high end models

Pretty powerful at-home device
This comes with the device, razor, power cord, glasses, cotton swabs, instructions, and... an extra lens maybe. The window on it is smaller than the one that comes on the device and it is not mentioned in the instructions so I have no idea what it is for. Is it for smaller areas or is one of those that is for acne? No idea.I have used quite a few of these devices over the years, searching for a really good one. This one is pretty powerful compared to some others I have used. This one is also super easy to hold. It has an automatic function to where you press it to the skin and it auto flashes so you don't have to keep triggering it. Keep in mind there is like a 3 second delay between flashes, so this isn't a quicker processes. The delay is there with the trigger too. This is to protect the device. Auto is just less fatigue. The cord must be plugged in in order for the device to work. It does not charge. So I am not sure why the cord separates from the device. Maybe so you can replace it in case of damage without needing to buying a whole new device.Overall, really easy to use and pretty powerful flash to get you better results than some other options out there.

Good mid-range device
There are a lot of IPL devices on the market these days, so look for one that will fit your intended use (handle vs no handle seems to be the biggest form debate). However, I absolutely recommend devices like this one that include the ICE cooling function, because an intense pulsed light can get HOT. The cooling function really minimizes the already minimal discomfort from using a device like this. I appreciate that this device also included a focusing head. It's not the quickest hair removal, but it does provide long-lasting lightening effects that really help make things less frustrating.

Not for dark hair
My hair is dark and course. This does not necessarily help with hair removal, but it does slow growth over time. I have used it consistently for about a month and a half. I do notice that hair regrowth is a bit slower, and the hair seems a bit finer. It comes with all accessories. It is corded although the cord can be removed (for travel I assume). It is not one that you charge and use cordless.

For the whole family
Intense Pulsed Light Devices used to be only used in salons but happily I was able to get this MLAY IPL Laser Hair Removal Device for home use. Though designed for home-use, nothing has been left out. It has 5 Power Levels & 2 Flash Modes, and a Large Light Outlet. The 7-15.5 joules of light energy is at a professional level so it works quickly and efficiently. Thrilled! - The whole family will be able to use this.
