I'm a flooring contractor and have been in the business for over 40 years. I carry a bottle of this Armstrongfull strength stripper in my truck and always have. Client's that have older Armstrong sheet vinyl flooring and other sheet vinyl don't realize what a great product this is along with Armstrong Shinekeeper polish.The full strength stripper dissolves all the dirt in the nooks and cranny's in most sheet vinyl floors. People used to use a toothbrush to do this in the olden days. This stuff is somewhat time activating. Simply put it on wait a few minutes. I use a "Cello" sponge to lightly scrub with. After stripping the vinyl, apply a few coats of Armstrong Shinekeeper wax. The vinyl floor will look brand new. Instead of selling people new sheet vinyl flooring, sometimes I recommend cleaning and rewaxing their existing sheet vinyl flooring. If you do that, you have a customer for life.MM

I have been using this for years, you do have to leave it on the grime in embossed areas. (But, NOTHING has been effective on those areas. I do like that it doesn’t require rinsing and when it dries, the “shine keeper” keeps everything clean and shiny.

I bought the Armstrong product with the hopes it would work. I was very ashamed of my kitchen floor after using mop and shine products for years. My floor was dull and stained.After using 4 different products I was left so disappointed and thought I would have to pay to replace the flooring in my rental unit. But after one small application I was utterly amazed at the speed and outcome of the wax removal. This is an amazing product and it smells fresh too. So very happy. I would show a picture but I’m too embarrassed at the state of the floor. I highly recommend this product for old floor wax removal.

This floor wax remover is awesome. I had waxed this floor 5 years ago and it was a chore to remove 25 years of built up wax and grime. This time we did use an electric buffer to clean a few of the tough spots but otherwise it melted the old finish off. I used the Armstrong Shine Keeper to reapply the floor glossy finish. So happy this product is still available.
