Nice, easy to use and nice smell, quite a hard wax, but not too hard to use, good at holding shape. Would get the extra star if it held a little bit better! But overall worth trying!

I will say, this past order was incorrect and they sent me two cans of The Outlaw instead of Viking, but it was a good mistake because I love the smell of this just as much. Too notch brand and top notch smell. Love them all. Well, except The Surfer, that one is trash!

Pros: Smells great (Viking scent). Mostly piney, with an undercurrent of citrus and just a hint of clove. The clove could be a little bit stronger in my opinion (add some allspice too?). The hold is initially great, it softens my beard, and it doesnt feel greasy or waxy when used in appropriate quantities.Cons: Doesn't last long enough. This is a problem with all the waxes and beard products I've used, though. My beard is around 4 inches, and pretty darn coarse and curly. If you've used other waxes and gotten good effect, I'm sure this will work great for you.

My beard is pretty frizzy after washing, and balms I'd used didn't do much. This doesn't have super strong hold, if you're trying to do a serious "style" it may not be the right stuff, but it does make my beard look more groomed and neat. The scent is by no means strong and wears off quickly, but it's pleasant enough. It also rinses out completely with hot water, and I notice that my beard is noticeably softer afterwards. All in all a good purchase.

It's somewhere in-between. Great scent. But once in hands and spread around it melts just as a balm would. I have the balm as well and the difference between the two of them in holding and structure is minimal.

So I have used tons of s**t to try and tame my stache to no avail. Now, this stuff isn't exactly my holy grale for keeping it in line but damn it's the next best thing. Keeps it uniform and keeps the strays away or at least in line with the rest. Find myself reaching for this more than the old pomade. Much easier to apply, need much less of it to get the look I'm after
